Activities in Academic Year 2024-25
AIM :
“{B}IT” THE IT CLUB at our college aims to enhance technical skills through workshops and hands-on sessions. We foster collaboration between students and faculty, manage the college website and social media platforms, organize IT events, actively support extracurricular activities, and arrange sessions with external professionals to provide industry insights.
ACTIVITIES :
1. Hackathons and Coding Competitions: Organize coding challenges, hackathons, or app development contests. These events encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork among participants.
2. Open-Source Contributions: Encourage students to contribute to open-source projects. Collaborate with other clubs or organizations to work on meaningful projects that benefit the community.
3. Networking Sessions: Arrange networking sessions where students can interact with alumni, industry experts, and recruiters. These connections can lead to internships, job opportunities, and mentorship.
4. Tech Showcases: Showcase innovative projects created by club members. It could be a mobile app, a website, or a machine learning model. Celebrate their achievements and inspire others.
5. Career Development Workshops: Host sessions on resume building, interview skills, and job search strategies. Provide mock interviews and personalized feedback.
6. IT Competitions: Organize quizzes, puzzles, or IT-related games. Make learning fun while testing participants’ knowledge.

• Introduction:
The Session began by the introduction of the importance of cyber security in today’s world.
• Introduction to cyber security:
Adv. Sharma began the lecture with a broad overview of cybersecurity, emphasizing its importance in protecting digital assets and maintaining privacy. He illustrated how cybersecurity intersects with various sectors, including finance, healthcare, and government.
• Current trends & challenges :
The speaker highlighted current trends in cybersecurity, such as the rise of ransomware attacks, the increasing sophistication of cyber threats, and the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals. He also discussed emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and their impact on the cybersecurity landscape.
• Career paths in Cybersecurity :
Adv. Rajat Sharma provided a detailed analysis of various career options within cybersecurity, including roles such as Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, Incident Responder, and Cybersecurity Consultant. He discussed the responsibilities associated with each role and the skills required, such as knowledge of network security, ethical hacking, and risk management.
• Industry Insights and Future Prospects:
Adv. Sharma shared insights into the future of cybersecurity, including the increasing importance of legal and ethical considerations in the field. He discussed the growing role of cybersecurity in compliance and legal frameworks, stressing the need for professionals who can navigate both technical and legal aspects.

The lecture was followed by an interactive Q&A session where students posed questions about specific career paths, certifications, and the impact of cybersecurity on various industries. Adv. Sharma provided insightful answers and encouraged students to pursue their interests with dedication.
• Conclusion:
Adv. Rajat Sharma’s guest lecture on “Career Opportunities in Cybersecurity” was both enlightening and inspiring. The lecture was well-received, with positive feedback from students and faculty alike, reflecting its value in helping students make informed decisions about their future careers.
• Introduction:
The Session began by the introduction to the importance of final year project in the TYBCA curriculum.
• Choosing a project topic:
The importance of selecting project topic was emphasized. Tips were provided on how to choose aligned with student’s interest and the latest trends in the field of IT.
• Project Planning & Guideline:
The session included a discussion planning and time management. If the project is done in groups how We can divide different part of project and how to work accordingly was explained. Examples of industrial project teams and how they work were also told to the students.
• Documentation & Timeline:
Guidance was provided on the importance throughout the project. Tips on creating clear & concise project reports & preparing for the final presentation were shared.
• Job Opportunities in IT:
In which sectors of IT, we can work in future was told in detail. E.g. recent opportunities include Cyber security, cloud computing, Data science, AI & MI were explained.
• Q&A:
The lecture concluded with an interactive Q & A session where students had the opportunity to seek clarification on project related queries & future guidance regarding IT sector.
• Conclusion:
The TYBCA project guidance session proved to be a valuable initiative in preparing students for their upcoming project work. By providing comprehensive guidance on project requirements, topic selection, technical aspects and documentation the session aimed equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge to successfully complete their projects.
• Recommendations:
Based on the success of this session, it is recommended that similar sessions to be conducted regularly to support students throughout their final year journey. Additional sessions focusing on specific technical skills could further enhance students learning experience & could be helpful for further career.

Event: Presenting Appointment Letters to the Club Coordination Committee members

The event started at 11:30 am. All the students and faculties had gathered to witness the formal appointment of the new Club Coordination Committees for the Academic Year 2024-25.
The Vice Principal, Dr. Poonam Rawat emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, and the responsibilities that come with being part of the Coordination Committee. The Principal , Dr. Ravindra Vaidya commended the students for their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in all their endeavors.
