The MES Senior College Library is housed in a separate building located on the second floor. The carpet area of the library is 2500 square feet and has adequate reading space for 40 students at a time. The college library has more than 1300 volumes of printed books, CDs, and student project reports/dissertations. The library provided remote access e-Resources to the users. Users are able to access e-journals, e-books, and other electronic resources through DELNET and Kopykitab. The library is continuously upgraded by acquiring new collections. The library is automated with digital facilities using the Integrated Library Management System Koha and LIBMAN. The continuous development approach with the effective utilization of advanced ICT and management tools in the library.
The library provide a Inter Library Loan membership of SPPU Jayakar Library Pune, for better resource sharing.
The Library has made consistent progress in terms of colleges of Books, Periodicals, CDs, E-Resources, and infrastructure. We allow to students and staff open Access through the stroke and stack having a simple subject wise arrangement classified by the DDC.
- The library has used Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) Open-Source Library Automation Software KOHA (Version 17.11.03.000) & Master soft -LIBMAN with fully automated .
- The library is automated with using barcoding technology to used circulation services like Issuing , Return & Renew.
- User Tracking System is used to track the user’s entry time and exit time to the library.
- A separate system is provided to the library users for searching the books on Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility enables users to search online and locate books and other materials available in the library.

Electronic resources form one of many formats that the Library collects to support its universal collections. Electronic resources include, web sites, online databases, e-journals, e-books, whether free or fee-based, required to support research in the subject covered, and may be audio, visual, and/or text files. The Library has paid databases to the rich collection of e-resources through the DELNET and Kopykitab membership. The library provided remote access e-Resources to the users.

DELNET was started at the India International Centre Library in January 1988 and was registered as a society in 1992.
DELNET has been actively engaged with the compilation of various Union Catalogues of the resources available in member-libraries. It has already created the Union Catalogue of Books, Union List of Current Periodicals, Union Catalogue of Periodicals, CD-ROM Database, Database of Indian Specialists, Database of Periodical Articles, Union List of Video Recordings, Urdu Manuscripts' Database, Database of Theses and Dissertations, sample databases of language publications using GIST technology and several other databases.

The National Digital library of India is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not only just a repository with a search/browse facilities but also provides a host of services containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media for the learners/users community.
- Shodhganga
The Shodhganga @ INFLIBNET is set-up using an open source digital repository software called D-Space developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in partnership between Hewlett- Packard (HP). The D-Space uses internationally recognized protocols and interoperability standards. Shodhganga provides a platform for research scholars to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access. The repository has the ability to capture, index, store, disseminate and preserve ETDs (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) submitted by the researchers.
- Shodhgangotri
ShodhGangotri is a repository on one hand would reveal the trends and directions of research being conducted in Indian universities, on the other hand, it would avoid duplication of research. Synopsis in “ShodhGangotri” would later be mapped to full-text theses in "ShodhGanga". As such, once the full-text thesis is submitted for a synopsis, a link to the full-text theses would be provided from ShodhGangotri to "ShodhGanga".

e-PG Pathshala is an initiative of the MHRD under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) being executed by the UGC. The content and its quality being the key component of education system, high quality, curriculum-based, interactive e-content in 70 subjects across all disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts and humanities, natural & mathematical sciences, linguistics and languages have been developed by the subject experts working in Indian universities and other R & D institutes across the country.

Activities in Academic Year 2022-23
A book review activity was organized at the college on December 12, 2022. The objective of this activity was to make students understand how to read, understand, analyze, and comprehend a book. The students had a wonderful experience reading and exchanging their views and opinions about the book. This activity helped them activate the thought process. Prof. Avinash Pagare sir was judge in this activity, he had analysis of book review activity.
MES Senior College library organized a cleaning drive on October 1, 2022. To make a positive impact on the environment and Library. A team of 15 students had the privilege of collaborating cleaning with the all library section. We extend our gratitude to the NSS officer, Prof. Avinash Pagare, and his team for their support and collaboration in making this cleaning drive a success. We also thank our students for their dedication and hard work during this initiative. This will help to maintaining the cleanliness of the in every library section.
MES Senior College Library has celebrating Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. On the occasion, the library has a poster presentation of Mahatma Gandhi's playing a key role in India's freedom movement and demonstrated the power of non-violence, or ahinvsa, through various peaceful movements. He inspired leaders across the world with his values and principles. People mark Gandhi Jayanti and remember the contribution of the "Father of the Nation." The day is also observed as "International Day of Non-Violence" to disseminate the message of non-violence. All faculty members and students participated in this program and enjoyed the valuable thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi.
MES Senior College celebrating Reading Inspiration Day on late. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s Birth Anniversary on 15th October.Library had also arranged a book exhibition of Abdul Kalam’s books for all the students and faculty members. Principal Dr. Ravindra Vaidya, Course Coordinator Dr. Poonam Rawat and all faculty members, office staff members and students are visited the exhibition and celebrated the Reading Inspiration Day. The program met with resounding success & was greatly appreciated by all the members.
MES Senior College Library celebrated a birthday of Savitribai Phule on 3rd January 2023 at library. “Savitribai Phule was the first women, who stand alone for the girl’s education, took lots of efforts to make women educated and make available first girl’s school in Pune and in the memory of such Honorable women this day is celebrated”. Through this programme students came to know about Savitribai Phule early life and what she contributed for the society as well as for womens empowerment. All faculty members and students are participated in this program.
On the occasion of 160th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on “National Youth Day” and Rajmata Jijau Jayanti MES Senior College Library celebrated on January 12, 2023 at the library. The thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are a source of inspiration for the youth of India and give inspiration to follow the right path and achieve success. The library organized an exhibition of Swami Vivekananda's books in the library. The students had a wonderful experience reading the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda. These events aimed to spread the message of Swami Vivekananda, who believed in the unity of all religions and the potential of every individual to achieve spiritual growth.
ज्ञानपीठ विजेते प्रसिद्ध कवी विष्णू वामन शिरवाडकर तथा कुसुमाग्रज यांचा २७ फेब्रुवारी हा जन्म दिवस 'मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन' म.ए.सो सिनिअर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयाद्वारे साजरा करण्यात आला. मराठी भाषेचे, साहित्याचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित करण्यासाठी आणि त्याचा सन्मान करण्यासाठी या दिवशी म.ए.सो सिनिअर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयाद्वारे मराठी भाषेतील वाचन साहित्यांचे प्रदर्शन आयोजीत करण्यात आले होते. कुसुमाग्रज यांनी महाराष्ट्रच्या साहित्यिक व सांस्कृतिक क्षेत्रामध्ये मोलाचे योगदान दिले आहे. मराठी कवितेला कुसुमाग्रजांनीएका वेगळ्या उंचीवर नेऊन ठेवले. शिवाय महाराष्ट्राच्या बोलीला साहित्यात विशेष असे स्थान निर्माण करून देण्यात त्यांचा मोलाचा वाटा आहे. मराठी भाषा ही ज्ञानभाषा होण्यासाठी त्यांनी अथक परिश्रम घेतले. त्याची दखल घेऊन त्यांचा जन्मदिवस मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन म्हणून साजरा करतात, या ग्रंथ प्रदर्शनास खूप मोठ्या संख्येने विद्यार्थी, सर्व शिक्षक व शिक्षकेत्तर वर्ग उपस्थित होता.
