The MES Senior College Library is housed in a separate building located on the second floor. The carpet area of the library is 2200 square feet and has adequate reading space for 60 students at a time. The college library has more than 3200 volumes of printed books, and student project reports/dissertations, e-resources. The library provided remote access e-resources to the users. Users are able to access e-journals, e-books, and other electronic resources through DELNET, Kopykitab and open access databases. The library is continuously upgraded by acquiring new collections. The library is automated with digital facilities using the Integrated Library Management System LIBMAN. The continuous development approach with the effective utilization of advanced ICT and management tools in the library.
Library having digital section 04 computers with 1050mbps net speed with data lease line.
The library provides a Inter Library Loan membership of SPPU Jayakar Knowledge Resource Centre SPPU Pune & DELNET New Delhi, for better resource sharing.
The library has made consistent progress in terms of colleges of Books, Magazines, CDs, E-Resources, and infrastructure. We allow to students and staff open access through the stroke and stack having a simple subject wise arrangement classified by the DDC.

- The library is automated with using barcoding technology to used circulation services like Issuing, Return & Renew.
- A separate system is provided to the library users for searching the books on Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility enables users to search online and locate books and other materials available in the library.

Electronic resources form one of many formats that the Library collects to support its universal collections. Electronic resources include, web sites, online databases, e-journals, e-books, whether free or fee-based, required to support research in the subject covered, and may be audio, visual, and/or text files. The Library has paid databases to the rich collection of e-resources through the DELNET and Kopykitab membership. The library provided remote access e-Resources to the users.

DELNET was started at the India International Centre Library in January 1988 and was registered as a society in 1992.
DELNET has been actively engaged with the compilation of various Union Catalogues of the resources available in member-libraries. It has already created the Union Catalogue of Books, Union List of Current Periodicals, Union Catalogue of Periodicals, CD-ROM Database, Database of Indian Specialists, Database of Periodical Articles, Union List of Video Recordings, Urdu Manuscripts' Database, Database of Theses and Dissertations, sample databases of language publications using GIST technology and several other databases.

The National Digital library of India is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not only just a repository with a search/browse facilities but also provides a host of services containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media for the learners/users community.
- Shodhganga
The Shodhganga @ INFLIBNET is set-up using an open source digital repository software called D-Space developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in partnership between Hewlett- Packard (HP). The D-Space uses internationally recognized protocols and interoperability standards. Shodhganga provides a platform for research scholars to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access. The repository has the ability to capture, index, store, disseminate and preserve ETDs (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) submitted by the researchers.

ShodhGangotri is a repository on one hand would reveal the trends and directions of research being conducted in Indian universities, on the other hand, it would avoid duplication of research. Synopsis in “ShodhGangotri” would later be mapped to full-text theses in "ShodhGanga". As such, once the full-text thesis is submitted for a synopsis, a link to the full-text theses would be provided from ShodhGangotri to "ShodhGanga".

e-PG Pathshala is an initiative of the MHRD under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) being executed by the UGC. मएसो सिनियर कॉलेजमध्ये दि. १२ ऑगस्ट रोजी राष्ट्रीय ग्रंथपाल दिन उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. भारतातील ग्रंथालयशास्त्राचे जनक पद्मश्री डॉ. एस. एस. रंगनाथन यांच्या १३३ व्या जयंतीनिमित्त नवीन पुस्तकांचे ग्रंथप्रदर्शन आयोजित करण्यात आले होते. या प्रदर्शनात महाराष्ट्रातील समाजसुधारक, ‘माझी जन्मठेप’, ‘राजा शिवछत्रपती’, ‘लोकमान्य टिळक’, महात्मा फुले, स्वातंत्र्यवीर सावरकर, ‘देशभक्त उद्योजक रतन टाटा’, ‘महानायक’, ‘उचल्या’, ‘इंडियन बिझनेस गुरु’ यांसारखी विविध पुस्तके प्रदर्शित करण्यात आली होती. विद्यार्थी व शिक्षकांनी उत्स्फूर्त सहभाग घेत प्रदर्शनाला उत्तम प्रतिसाद दिला.

म.ए.सो. सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयाद्वारे दि. १५ आक्टोबर २०२४ रोजी माजी राष्ट्रपती डॉ. ए. पी. जे अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या जयंती निमित्त वाचन प्रेरणा दिन सकाळी ११.०० साजरा करण्यात आला. आजच्या आधुनिक डिजिटल युगामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वाचनाची आवड वृद्धिंगत व्हावी यासाठी महापुरुषांचे विचार विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत पोहचण्यासाठी तसेच वाचन संस्कृती उत्तरोत्तर वाढत जावी यासाठी ग्रंथालयाद्वारे चरित्र, कथा आणि कादंबऱ्या या ग्रंथांचे ग्रंथ प्रदर्शन ग्रंथालयामध्ये भरविण्यात आले होते. त्याचबरोबर काही दुर्मिळ ग्रंथ, कथा आणि कादंबऱ्या जे ग्रंथालयामध्ये उपलब्ध नाहीत असे डिजिटल स्वरूपातील ग्रंथ विद्यार्थ्यांना सहज उपलब्ध होण्याकरिता विद्यार्थ्यांच्या व्हाट्सअँप ग्रुप वरती ओपन ऍक्सेस इ-रिसोर्सेस च्या लिंक्स पाठवण्यात आल्या.
शांतता... पुणेकर वाचत आहे" या उपक्रमाचे आयोजन म. ए. सो. सिनियर कॉलेज, पुणे येथे दि. ११ डिसेंबर २०२४ रोजी करण्यात आले. दुपारी १२ ते १ या वेळेत कॉलेजच्या ग्रंथालयात व वर्गखोल्यांमध्ये हा उपक्रम राबविण्यात आला. पुणे शहराच्या वाचन संस्कृतीला चालना देण्याच्या उद्देशाने हा उपक्रम आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. विद्यार्थ्यांनी व प्राध्यापकांनी या उपक्रमात उत्स्फूर्तपणे सहभाग घेतला. विद्यार्थ्यांनी व प्राध्यापकांनी आपल्या आवडीच्या पुस्तकाचे शांततेत एक तास वाचन केले. ग्रंथालयात एक विशेष वाचनाचा आनंददायी वातावरण निर्माण झाले होते. उपस्थितांनी वाचनाची गोडी वाढविण्याचा संकल्प केला. या उपक्रमामुळे वाचनाची महत्त्वाची गरज सर्वांना नव्याने जाणवली.
महाराष्ट्र शासन उच्च व तंत्र शिक्षण विभागाकडून महाविद्यालय यांना “वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा” हा अभिनव उपक्रम दि. १ जानेवारी ते १५ जानेवारी या कालावधीत वाचन पंधरवाडा राबविण्याचे निर्देश दिले त्या अनुषंगाने मएसो सिनियर कॉलेजद्वारे १ जानेवारी ते १५ जानेवारी २०२५ या कालावधीत वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा या उपक्रमाच्या अंतर्गत विविध कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन म ए सो सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयामध्ये करण्यात आले ते कार्यक्रम पुढील प्रमाणे.
म ए सो सिनियर कॉलेजद्वारे २ ते ३ जानेवारी २०२५ रोजी वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा या उपक्रमाच्या अंतर्गत ग्रंथप्रदर्शनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले. आजच्या आधुनिक डिजिटल युगामध्ये विद्यार्थी वाचन संस्कृतीपासून दुरावत चाललेला आहे, या विद्यार्थी वाचकाला वाचनाकडे आकर्षित करण्यासाठी त्यांच्या आवडीचे, त्यांना आवडणाऱ्या भाषेतील साहित्यांची उपलब्धता या ग्रंथ प्रदर्शनामध्ये करण्यात आलेली होती. विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वाचनाची आवड वृद्धिंगत व्हावी यासाठी महापुरुषांचे विचार विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत पोहचण्यासाठी तसेच वाचन संस्कृती उत्तरोत्तर वाढत जावी यासाठी ग्रंथालयाद्वारे चरित्र, कथा आणि कादंबऱ्या या ग्रंथांचे ग्रंथप्रदर्शन ग्रंथालयामध्ये भरविण्यात आले होते. या ग्रंथप्रदर्शनामध्ये मराठी, हिंदी आणि इंग्रजी भाषेतील २०० अवांतर वाचनीय पुस्तकांचे प्रदर्शन भरविण्यात आले होते.
म ए सो सिनियर कॉलेजद्वारे ३ जानेवारी २०२५ रोजी वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा या उपक्रमाच्या अंतर्गत पुस्तकांचे सामुहिक वाचन करणे या कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन म ए सो सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयामध्ये करण्यात आले होते. विद्यार्थ्यांनी ग्रंथालयामधील अवांतर वाचनाची पुस्तके यांचे वाचन करण्यात आले. या कार्यक्रमामध्ये विद्यार्थी तसेच प्राद्यापक यांनी सहभाग घेऊन ग्रंथालयामध्ये येऊन पुस्तकांचे वाचन केले. ग्रंथालयामध्ये अभ्यासक्रमा व्यतिरिक्त उपलब्ध असणारी तसेच नव्याने दाखल झालेले मराठी, हिंदी आणि इंग्रजी भाषेतील पुस्तकांची यादी नोटीस बोर्ड वरती लावण्यात आलेली होती त्यामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांना ग्रंथालयामधील कोणकोणते ग्रंथ उपलब्ध आहेत याची माहिती मिळाली. विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वाचन संस्कृती वाढण्यासाठी या कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते. या कार्यक्रमामध्ये विद्यार्थी व प्राद्यापक यांनी किमान १ तास पुस्तकांचे वाचन केले.
म.ए.सो. सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयाद्वारे मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन २७ फेब्रुवारी २०२५ रोजी साजरा करण्यात आला. मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन महाराष्ट्राचे ज्येष्ठ कवी विष्णू वामन शिरवाडकर उर्फ कुसुमाग्रज यांच्या जन्मदिवसानिमित्त मराठी भाषा गौरव दिन साजरा केला जातो. आपल्या पुढील पिढीने मराठी भाषेचे संवर्धन करावे म्हणून मराठी भाषा दिन साजरा केला जातो. मराठी भाषा गौरव दिनाच्या निमित्ताने म.ए.सो. सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयाद्वारे मराठी ग्रंथ प्रदर्शन आणि सुंदर मराठी हस्ताक्षर स्पर्धेचे आयोजन ग्रंथालयामध्ये करण्यात आले. ग्रंथ प्रदर्शन सकाळी १०.०० ते सायंकाळी ०४.०० पर्यंत या वेळेत उपलब्ध होते. ग्रंथालयात १०० हून अधिक मराठी ग्रंथांचे प्रदर्शन लावण्यात आले होते. ग्रंथ प्रदर्शनामध्ये मराठी भाषेतील कथा, कादंबऱ्या, कवितासंग्रह, चरित्र ग्रंथ, इतिहास यांसारख्या पुस्तकांचे प्रदर्शन भरविण्यात आले होते.

म ए सो सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयामध्ये २३ एप्रिल २०२५ रोजी जागतिक पुस्तक दिन उत्साहात साजरा करण्यात आला. या विशेष दिनानिमित्त ग्रंथालयात विविध विषयांवरील महत्त्वाच्या पुस्तकांचे आकर्षक प्रदर्शन आयोजित करण्यात आले. विद्यार्थ्यांना वाचनाची प्रेरणा मिळावी यासाठी निवडक पुस्तके विशेष ठळकपणे मांडण्यात आली होती. ग्रंथालयात आलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांनी आणि शिक्षकांनी पुस्तकांचे वाचन व माहिती घेण्यासाठी सहभाग नोंदवला. ११ ते १२ या वेळेत एक तास पुस्तकांचे वाचन करण्यात आले. या उपक्रमातून वाचनसंस्कृती वृद्धिंगत व्हावी व ज्ञानाची गंगा विद्यार्थ्यांपर्यंत पोहोचावी, हा उद्देश होता. वाचनाची गोडी वाढवण्यासाठी ई-बुक्सची माहिती आणि लिंकही विद्यार्थ्यांना पुरवण्यात आली. कार्यक्रमामुळे विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये वाचनाविषयी नवा उत्साह निर्माण झाला.
On December 19, 2024, MES Senior College successfully organized a Student Book Purchase Scheme at the Pune Book Festival held at Fergusson College, Pune. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 121 students and faculty members, who had the opportunity to select and purchase books of their choice.
The primary objective of this initiative was to foster a love for reading among students and to cultivate their reading habits. By providing a platform for students to explore and acquire books that interest them, the college aims to encourage a culture of reading, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
वाचन संकल्प महाराष्ट्राचा उपक्रमांतर्गत लेखक व विद्यार्थी वाचन संवाद कार्यक्रम मएसो सिनियर कॉलेज ग्रंथालयामध्ये पार पडला. लेखक व विद्यार्थी संवाद कार्यक्रमासाठी स्वातंत्रवीर सावरकर यांच्यावरील पुस्तकाचे लेखक श्री अक्षय जोग हे उपस्थित होते. श्री अक्षय जोग यांनी विद्यार्थ्यांशी संवाद साधताना एखादे पुस्तक लिहिण्यापूर्वी आपण काय करायला हवे, वाचनाची आवड लागण्यासाठी काय करावे, वास्तवदर्शी परमार्श करण्यासाठी वाचनाबरोबर पुरावे ही अतिशय महत्वाचे ठरतात, त्याचबरोबर आपल्या पुस्तकाचे मार्केटिंग करण्यासाठी आपण नेमके पणाने काय करायला हवे. विद्यार्थ्यांनीही लेखकांशी संवाद साधताना काही प्रश्न विचारले. लेखक व विद्यार्थी वाचन संवाद कार्यक्रमासाठी 65 विद्यार्थी तसेच प्रद्यापक वृंद उपस्थित होता.
