About the event
Jigyasa is MES’s IMCC’s annual intercollegiate Techno-Socio fest. Each year students from colleges in and around Pune participate in various competitions held as a part of Jigyasa. In 2020 Jigyasa comprised of following competitions:
- Bamboozled Quiz : Technical quiz
- Exhibit IT – Software project competition held at two levels viz, PG and UG
- Crazy C Crackers – Contest to test programming skills using C as programming language.
- Presentino – Presentation competition where participants get to present their ideas on various social and technical topics. Judge By- Mr. Pankaj Kavi( Solution Designer, Tech-Mahindra)
- Computer Games: Counter Strike.
- I-Click: Photography competition. This year there was an exhibition of pre-sent entries of photographs before and during the actual event.
- Box Cricket: Mini-cricket event.
- Bingo: Lucky draw for participants.
- Treasure Hunt.
- Poster Design Drawing and Painting competition.

- Preventions of forest
- Digital India
Total participation: 384 students participated in the above mentioned events.
Prizes: Winners were awarded cash prize of 2,000/- while runners up were awarded cash prize of 1,000/-
Sponsorship: The event received sponsorship of 15,000/- (10,000 By Axis Bank + 5000 By VIEC Education firm.)
Chief Guest for Inaugural function: Mrs. Kavita Nankane, Cluster Head, Axis Bank Kothrud
Chief Guest for Valedictory function: Mr. Sameer Kamat. CEO & Co-Founder, EdTech company and ePravesh.
